I couldn’t resist when I spotted this flannel!
My plan was to sew another set of PJs for me…but I cut the pants in my daughter’s size….the downside of having forgotten to label the pattern pieces!!!
So she inherited MY dreamy PJs set.
A nice combination of patterns
I knew that I would re-use Jalie’s classic PJs set. I had already traced it a few years ago and I had loved it. Oee problem though: the pants lack curves at the hips and this part was submitted to too much tension and tore rapidly, leaving me with only the shirt.
I chose to sew the Pine Cove pants instead.
I love the details on the Jalie’s shirt.
See the piping?
I pondered between a contrasting piping, either bright yellow or fuschia, or a coordinating one. Ultimately, I chose a light grey satin one because of the geometric pattern on the flannel.
Sizes are a size P for the top and 00 for the pants.
Have you seen (and felt) this flannel?!?
It’s just amazing. Even better than the red panda flannel I used for my daughter’s Pine Cove PJs. It has a better drape in my opinion. It’s a Robert Kaufman’s (so please be awere of a small width of fabric i.e. 105 cm).
Yes, you can say “what? She sewed another PJ set?”. Indeed, I did and it’s one of the best feelings in the world!
