Mid-November is the right time to start thinking about my wishlist.
Here are some of the gifts I’d like…and I’m not ashamed to say so!
Socks, anybody?
“Sock: a very gratifying knitting project that can be done again and again/” Here my definition of knitted sock.
I love knitting socks, I could knit them all day long. I’ve already started my sock-knitting season so I thought that I could show you some sock patterns I’d love to have.
Some winter design. Not eveyrbody is keen on Christmas design, but this one is cute and can be knitted in red for instance, for a more christmassy look or in blue for a more wintery look.

Looks more like a Christmas sock to me. A pattern by one of my favorite pattern designers, Renarde Endormie*. Her patterns are very detailed and you learn a lot.

The epitome of the Christmas sock is here! It’s full of Christmas designs and colors. I love it.

Knitting decorations
So far, I’ve never knitted tiny cute decorations. I find them adorable and they could be used as place markers, gift tags, etc.
Let’s start with these tiny ski hats. They could be placed on the table. Knitted in red and white for Christmas or using more muted colors.

What about knitting teeny-tiny socks? I can imagine them hanging on a mini Christmas tree.

Last but not least, the Christmas sweaters. I d’ont know why, but they would look cute as place-markers or gift tags.

Stitch markers and other knitting stuff
Obviously, knitting is not always about the end result, but also about the process.
I’ve already bought stitch markers from Le Repère des Tricopines*. Quality is really good and the designs are cute (I bought these kitty cats markers*). You can customize the size of the ring, the type (ring or lobster clip), and add a box.
Don’t count the calories with these cute chocolate cups!
I don’t own knit stoppers and I really should have one set. I usually push all of my stitches as far from the needle ends as possible…

I have 6 markers…So why not increasing their number with these 4 funny winter cats?

A mystery set of markers can be a gift. These 8 markers share a winter theme.
