Early 2026, I tested Itch to Stitch’s newest shirt pattern called Laon*. I loved the timeless silhouette and the princess seams.
When I saw this exclusive broderie anglaise* on Minerva website, I couldn’t resists and they graciously provided it to me, as a Minerva Brand Ambassador.
Since I had already transefrred all of the alterations I neded for my body shape, I just had to cut the fabric…Easy and quick!Toutes les modifications étaient déjà faites, je n’avais plus qu’à couper….royal!
- Laon*

A fabric that would work well for Valentine’s Day!
This design is part of the exclusive What Abi Makes studio* for Minerva. The designs are fun and colorful.
They are printed on demand on a large variety of fabric bases. From lawn to jersey and fleece and more.
Here are some of What Abi Makes’ designs:
I feel like the brown fabric with the flowers would make a lovely autumn/winter blouse…Just saying!
Perfect for me
If you want to know more about the Laon shirt and what I did as alterations, you can read the first post here.
Broderie anglaise and interfacing : eyelet has little ‘holes’ so interfacing could show, even in black. I used black lining instead (or whatever cotton you may have in stock). I underlined where needed and it worked perfectly.
Some pictures of my new Laon.
I love it and will wear it as often as the first one. They are my type of tops for colder days.
