I combined Jalie’s 2686 top with ITS’s Pine cove bottoms*.
Both are patterns have used so often that I could sew them in my sleep.

The patterns
Classical look for the top of the set, with a nice notched collar. I cut a size V (I could have sized down for the bust).
Honestly, I didn’t remember that the finishing was so…meh. I was disappointed in me not remembering that. I should up the game with the inside and, even, the outer wrist bands. Next time I will sew the sleeves shut THEN add the band. I will also topstitch the facings down (they are free on the inside and I don’t like that).
But I did remember that the bottoms were too straight at the hips for me and needed a bit of curve. As a consequence, I simply used ITS’s Pine Cove bottoms in size 10 in lieu of.
Dreamy doodles
I love purple and this Tammy Handmade’s exclusive print* is one of my favorites. So Minerva* kindly sent me the polar fleece version of the print.
My plan was to sew a Roseto robe*.
When I got the fabric, I was surprised to find out that it looked more like thick flannel than polar fleece. It wasn’t what I was expected for a robe so I had to find a new project (and that was easy!).
This is a very thick fabric so do not hesitate to use a denim needle when topstitching.
It’s very soft and do not fray.
The printed part of the fabric leaves a really wide white selvedge. I plan to transform it into reusable wipes.
