Thank you for the nice comment. It&#039;s been quite a long time (and I donated this Castillo so...). I think that one half-band&#039;s length would measure 48 inches at the max. It&#039;s rather long since you will need two (joined at the back seam). You can even play with the band by making the hood&#039;s band in another fabric( but you&#039;ll have to measure on the pattern piece). Have a great sewing time!]]></description>
